The new system of consultation by appointment has proved a huge success. Waiting times are shorter reducing stress for animals
and humans alike. Thanks to all for making this work.
WALKING THEIR WAY TO HAPPINESS
We have recently installed a Hydrotherapy Unit in the hospital. Hydrotherapy is commonly used in human medicine and has started
to become a recognised therapy in veterinary medicine also.
The treatment essentially involves exercising on an underwater treadmill. By having the treadmill underwater and varying the water
level it is possible to alter the amount of work done by the animal's muscles and joints.
Hydrotherapy has proven beneficial in the treatment and management of arthritis, obesity and cardiac insufficiency. It is also
beneficial in post-injury and post-surgical rehabilitation, speeding up healing and reducing the time taken by the animal to return to
full fitness.

We here at Sunbeam realise that with the recent downturn in the economy value for money is more important than ever. In response
to this we have put together health care packages which will cater for all your animals routine health needs at a discounted rate.

CAT NAPS
For those cat owners going on holiday, we are pleased to announce that we now have a cattery on site. The cattery is now open for
visitors and bookings are being taken. Single and double berths are available. All cats will be well looked after and any special
requirements can be catered for. Up to date vaccinations are required for all our guests.
A STITCH IN TIME...
In our experience it is much easier and more economic to prevent disease rather than treat it. For this reason we advise yearly
vaccinations and annual health checks to prevent disease, discuss any worries regarding your pet's health and catch any disease
process early allowing more effective treatments.
A stitch in time saves worry and money!
OUR NEW ENTRANCE
Those of you who have visited in the past month or so will have noticed changes to the entrance. As things stand access to the clinic
is as before but we now have our own dedicated entrance as well. It is now possible to drive through the barrier by the security hut
and then go left directly down to the clinic.
Although both entrances are still in use we would ask, where possible, that the new entrance is used by our clients and patients.
